Which Bike is the BEST?

Are you considering to buy a bike and not sure what to buy? Which type of engine would suit you?

Let me make a few things clear to you. A bike needs power and a decent mileage to become a good bike. Considering a common man, a bike with better KM per Liter is much important. On the other hand if you want power and hence more speed you would prefer a different bike.

I would say that, buying a bike with enough amount of power and better mileage is what a wise guy would do. Because the bike will give a better mileage in the normal daily run, also it will have the power packed inside for any kind of sporty drive.

Also be aware that, if you rev the motor to higher speeds, the lesser the mileage you will get from the motor. So an average speed will give a better mileage. Driving the bike within 4000 to 5000 RPM will get you the best results in consideration with both power and mileage.

Lets consider a 100 CC engine. The power output of the engine is very less. Even if you give a full throttle, the vehicle wont give more than 7 PS of power. Also the fuel is not properly burnt most of the time and hence the mileage is low in comparison with other engines. So buying this category engine is a bad choice for any biker.

Lets consider a 110 CC engine. The mileage from this engine is extremely high. Due to proper size of cylinder and better combustion of fuel, this engine give out mileage like a god. If properly tuned and drove at rated speed, this engine can give a mileage range as close as 85 KMPL.
But the power output is low. The max power output can be around 8-9 PS.If mileage is the main aim, I would suggest to get a bike with this engine. For daily commuter usage, this bike is more than best suited.

Now, Lets consider the 125 CC category engine. Be whatever it is, Mileage or power, this engine does it with ease. This is the best engine to be considered while buying a bike. It has all the packed power along with a decent mileage. It Can give out over 10 PS of power output. The mileage can be as close as 70 KMPL. Mileage + Power is the need of the day, and hence this engine is the best fit for any biker.

Lets consider the 150 CC engine. A biker will get pure racing power from this engine. If you want power coupled with lesser mileage, this engine will suit you. The maximum power can be just over 13 PS. The mileage range will be just around 40 KMPL.

Any engine above this category will give only lesser mileage and considerably more power. In my opinion a 125 CC engine would do better in all cases. This engine will give the best value for fuel and money.
